Hi My name is
Michelle. I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful little kiddos, Jaydan and Rylee.
My mom
introduced me to sewing early in my life, and I’ve been sewing, crafting and
quilting ever since. Over 20 years to be exact. Believe me when I say, I have a
SERIOUS fabric addiction!! I
ABSOLUTELY LOVE
the stuff!!
I love
creating diaper bags, purses and children’s items. It is so much fun getting to
"play" with all of my fabric. The reward
comes when I know I’ve made someone’s day a little happier and brighter by one
of my creations.
Nadyaj
Mia was
established in Summer 2003 shortly after my son Jaydan was born. He was the
whole reason for my business. Therefore the name Nadyaj is his name backwards,
and Mia meaning "one"
or "first".
Jaydan was
born with multiple congenital abnormalities and hospitalized for a lengthy
amount of time. I quit my job to stay home with him when he got out the
hospital. To help supplement our income I started Nadyaj Mia.
In August
2006 we welcomed another little one to our family, little Miss Rylee. She is
perfectly healthy and another added joy to our lives.

Designed to
be fashionable and functional Nadyaj Mia items are made from trendy, unique
high-quality fabric combinations.
Nadyaj
Mia
bags are NOT embellished store bought
totes.
My bags are
drafted, designed and sewn by me in my smoke-free and pet-free studio. In other
words, I DO NOT copy anyone else’s designs or use anyone’s patterns. They are my
OWN One of a kind creations.
All bags,
including the straps are lined with multiple layers of heavy duty interfacing so
they will stand on their own even when empty.
To make bags
extra durable they are reinforced at ALL stress points.
I take pride
in my craftsmanship...you will not be disappointed with the
quality!

Questions
1. How to I
care for my Nadyaj
Mia bag?
Every bag is
fully sprayed with the stain repellent Scotchguard before it is sent on it’s way
to you. So light spot cleaning with a mild detergent and cold water should be
sufficient.
If you must
do a thorough cleaning, place bag is washing machine on the delicate cycle and
cold water with a mild detergent. Remove bag and gently shake and hang to dry.
DO NOT WRING OR TWIST, AND DO NOT PLACE IN DRYER. After your Nadyaj Mia bag has
dried, to remove wrinkles, gently iron with a steam iron on a medium
setting.
For absolute
heaviest of soils dry cleaning is recommended.
Drying
Cleaning is also recommended if bag is made from decorator fabric or has frilly
trims.
2. Are custom
orders or wholesale orders accepted?
I
love to
take custom orders if time permits. Please email me to make sure I am able to
make something for you at that time. ( Jaydan is in and out of the hospital
unexpectedly at times) I more than likely will be able to accommodate you. So
just drop me an email to make sure I am able to make that something special for
you.
3. Can my bag
be monogrammed?
Only bags
that have "Monogram Available" or a Drop Down Box in the listing will be available for
monogramming. Some bags are not available for monogramming but burp cloths
always are.
4. Where do
you acquire your designs for your bags?
I apologize
but I do not share information about the construction of my bags, designs,
interfacings used, or manufacturers of fabrics. The bags I make are my
ORIGINAL designs. I do not use a purchased
pattern nor do I copy anyone else. Long hours have been spent drafting,
designing and perfecting my Nadyaj
Mia bags.
